Detroit is situated 600 miles inland on the west coast of America. In 2013 Detroit declared itself bankrupt after years of unemployment, financial struggle and with an estimated 60% of people moving from the centre out to the suburbs. It has left parts of the city where huge car plants used to be left run down and derelict. Detroit's downfall has seen writers from all over the world visit to get busy.....
