FUTURA 2000....ROCKING LONDON IN 1981....

 Futura came to London in 81 with the rock group 'The Clash'. He was hired to paint the backdrops live on stage on their tour of Europe. The first piece at the top was supposedly the first piece ever to be painted in London and was painted under the westway (although the blue Ling piece was painted by skam earlier that year) 
The piece at the bottom is one of the backdrops he painted whilst on stage touring....nice work if you can get it!!

THE BOOK!!

A few spreads of this have been posted a good few years back in Hip-Hop connections magazine. I had the pleasure of being shown some mock up ideas from Drax last year. It's not my place to go on about what I saw etc...all I can say is the book is gonna be the absolute business!!! I was truly blown away, honoured and left smiling from ear to ear at what I saw!!
THIS ONE WILL BE WORTH THE WAIT!!
